A VISION FOR LAKELAND

Once thought of as mostly quiet and part of the past, Lakeland is on the rise. With an evolving workforce, its population is growing. With Downtown offering more urban and eclectic experiences, its appeal is broadening. in 2018, the Lakeland CRA initiated Catalyst 1.0, which evaluated infrastructure, market data surrounding key opportunity sites within downtown to spark redevelopment and investment. In an effort to continue showcasing our potential, the CRA partnered with the Lakeland Economic Development Council and local animation studio The Apiary to develop Catalyst 2.0. This new tool serves as a 3D digital twin platform that identifies prime locations for investment within Downtown, Dixieland and Midtown CRA districts. Catalyst Lakeland serves as a central location for identifying:

• Recently completed projects

• Projects under construction

• Projects being designed

• Vision plans – concepts envisioned by economic development specialists

• Available sites
